How did I get here?
After years of following a career path that was less than exciting while creating beautiful landscapes in my spare time, I decided to put in the extra work to make my dream a reality. I just needed to check off a few boxes:
Rutgers University B.S. Environmental Science
Emory University Certification in Landscape Design
Gardenary Consultant Certification
Utah General Contractor License
Master Gardener (in training)
After supplementing my hands-on-training with additional, more formal and academic training (along with my contractor’s license), I decided I’m ready to help my community.
Between the astronomical prices for fresh produce to seeing landscapers plant cookie cutter plans throughout my neighborhood, I couldn’t resist trying to offer additional options. Not everyone has the time or vision so I created Alpine Petals to help my community achieve their outdoor sanctuary whatever that looks like.
Let’s face it, it’s hard to beat the views we have here along the Wasatch Front.
BUT…
imagine for a minute, you’re looking outside your window and alongside the pines and shimmering Aspens you’re looking at your very own salad garden ready to be harvested for tonight’s meal? No more running to the store to buy all the makings for a salad picked and packaged weeks ago, in another state (or worse, another country)!
MAYBE…
instead of the fresh veggies, you want to fill your house with your very own cut flowers grown outside your door and planted with all your favorites in mind!
I can do all of that for you and I want to.
Whether you want a plug and play set up all ready for you to watch grow and thrive or you’re a DIY type who’d like the materials delivered and use me as a resource (or something in between), this is an easy dream come true.
The idea of creating something that will bring happiness to my clients is a job I’m lucky to have.

When you think of your dream yard, what does it look like?
Is it
a perfectly manicured, symmetrical and tailored design?
full of wildflowers and native grasses?
a native Xeriscape?
a pollinator garden visited by butterflies and hummingbirds?
Whatever your sanctuary vision looks like, I can help make it a reality.
